Available online with no need for a prescription, our test provides everything you need to conduct an accurate COVID-19 test in your home in just 10 minutes . The test is intended to be used twice over two to three days, with at least 24 hours and no more than 36 hours between tests.
To conduct the test, all that is required is a simple nasal swab. The swab is placed into an included extraction solution tube and then dropped on the sample well. Accurate results will appear within minutes. DOWNLOAD OUR INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
At New Day Diagnostics, we strive to make early detection of cancer and other diseases not only possible, but simple. Our flagship products, Ovation and ProCare, are being developed to provide reliable diagnostic tests for ovarian and prostate cancer. We have based these tests on novel biomarkers present in urine, which will offer efficient, noninvasive, and affordable detection methods to people all around the world. In addition to these tests, we are working with our partners in other countries to provide tests for the detection of SARS-coV-2 (COVID-19) and for gastrointestinal illnesses including Celiac disease and Helicobacter Pylori.
We hope that our diagnostics will have a significant impact by enabling earlier intervention and improved well-being of people world wide.
No, the nasal swab is not sharp, and it should not hurt. However, sometimes the swab can feel slightly uncomfortable. If you feel pain, please stop the test and seek advice from a healthcare provider.
COVID-19 at-home testing allows some or all parts of the testing process to take place at home. Home testing kits provide the necessary supplies to collect a specimen yourself (such as a swab and a container or bag to put the swab in to avoid contamination). For some at-home tests, the specimen must be sent to a laboratory for testing.
Results usually take a few days. Other at-home tests allow you to perform the test yourself at home without sending the specimen to a lab.
An antigen test, such as the BIOCARD Pro COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test, detects proteins from the virus. Molecular tests detect genetic material from the virus. Antigen tests are very specific for the virus but not as sensitive as molecular tests. This means that a positive result is highly accurate, but a negative result does not rule out infection.
If your test result is negative, you should discuss with your healthcare provider whether an additional test is necessary and if you should continue isolating at home.
A positive test result means that you most likely have COVID-19 and must stay home and take precautions to reduce the risk of spreading the virus to others. Information about what to do when sick, how to protect others, and when you can leave home is available on CDC’s website https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html
Based on the interim results of a clinical study where the BIOCARD Pro COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test was compared to an FDA authorized molecular SARS-CoV-2 test, the BIOCARD Pro COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test correctly identified 92% of positive specimens and 98% of negative specimens.
Potential risks include:
• Possible discomfort during sample collection.
• Possible incorrect test results (see section “Interpretation of Results” in the Instructions for Use).
Potential benefits include:
• The results, along with other information, can help your healthcare provider make informed recommendations about your care.
• The results of this test may help limit the spread of COVID-19 to your family and others in your community.
A negative test result means that you most likely do not have COVID-19. However, you should continue to practice good hand hygiene and physical distancing and wear a face covering. This is especially important if you have symptoms because you may have the virus, but the test did not detect it. If you have symptoms and are isolating while you wait for your test result, you cannot end isolation if you test negative by an antigen test; instead, a molecular test is required to confirm your test result and end isolation.
This is because of the risk of false-negative test results with antigen tests.
